More schools are interested in participating in entrepreneurial workshops! The aim is to provide five workshops in the coming 18 months. Focus is on realising ideas together with local stakeholders.

A LENE App is in the making! The app enables LENE entrepreneurs and teachers to coordinate informal and non-formal activities better, and provides an interactive, safe support for participants via AI interaction!

Coordi-Nation is invited as Expert Evaluator and Product Results Output Expert on international project management in Turkiye in October 2023 for LET US THINK GREEN project  together with organisations from Greece, Italy, Lithuania and Bulgaria. We are happy to share our best practices and coach partners to the best of our ability!

The Swedish National Agency decides to continue funding our work within the LENE project! In September 2022 we continue our work with new energy with the focus on entrepreneurship learning-by-doing for school children. We develop non-formal learning environments for entrepreneurial hands-on activites between schools and local companies, organisations and entrepreneurs. Exciting !

Our Entrepreneurship Workshop in Marseille 28 July - 1 Aug. 2021 was a success! Youngsters from Germany, France and Spain attended the workshop. In the LENE+ Project we are finalising work package 1 and 2 this spring, and launching a very interesting questionnaire about youth and entrepreneurship. The planning for the next workshop in Marseille in May 2021 is running - but due to Corona parameters of the workshop are still unsure.

Blended Learning workshops Marseille (December 2020) and Barcelona (November 2020) accomplished for project Live Learning ! Many thanks to all involved !

As part of the Erasmus Plus project "Live Learning - A way to Europe - for everyone!" the Solidarity Youth of Germany organized a virtual expert day on international youth exchange on November 17. 2020.

 

The introduction to the topic was made by Dr. Helle Becker, who as part of the research team was significantly involved in the Access Study and the Access Study+.

 

From Coordination Europe Ms. L Israelsson presented the MUCF funded LENE+ project which focuses on entrepreneurship and young adults.

 

Wolfgang Hillenbrand from EUCON e. V. presented the Erasmus+ funded project "Live Learning - A way to Europe - for everyone!" which is looking for ways to improve the participation of young people with special needs in international exchanges. 

 

Christine Scherer from Pfefferwerk AG presented the project "Network Event Berlin", which she manages in Berlin. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund within the framework of the ESF Integration Guideline Federal, Action Focus Integration through Exchange (IdA).

It was lovely to see everyone again and we managed to have a very productive, innovative workshop with a personal touch on-line! Digitalisation has taken another step forward in the world ! Learning, tolerance, respect, culture and entrepreneurship is our focus. Together, six European partner organisations will develope a strategy to bring Entrepreneurship related soft skills closer to young people with special educational needs, based upon hands on experiences with empowerment through stays abroad and mobility projects. 

 

We develop a guideline with methodical settings for supervisors who work with young people with special educational needs in the context of entrepreneurship. The methodical settings we call Learning Environments. The guideline can inspire supervisors with ideas on how to empower the target group to succeed on their life journey as an entrepreneur, at the workplace, in school or during leisure time.

Coordi-Nation is supporting and consulting a young start up company, project managing and driving strategy, product development, marketing & sales issues, fairs and budget.

We are happy, that one of our interns found his dream job ! He came to Sweden with a specific goal: I want to start a career with Bayer AG in Germany. I need an internship where I can make my first experience with chemicals in a laboratory. Said and done, we arranged a suitable internship (it was not easy!). Our intern turned out to be not only a hard worker, but also a very talented lab assistant, who learned his tasks quickly and even started making suggestions how to improve processes and recipies! A true success-story, congratulations to your start with Bayer AG ! We are glad, we could support you on your road to a job.

2017 started well and the work with the first group in Småland already started.  We are working with employers to create good internships for the first job market. We are looking forward to the new group!

Dennis came to Sweden with an IdA-Project in 2015. He wanted to work in the social area, with other young people. His placement fit perfect and Dennis showed that all he needed was a chance - which he got, and he used this chance exeptionally well. Not everyone thought he was going to be successful in this job, we are glad he proved to everyone that he was worthy of the responsibility he was given! He became employed straight after his internship and in the meantime he is now working as an assistant at one of the local schools. Congratulations!

Finally, the last project of the year is finished, participants arrived well at home! Reports about the participants are written, time sheets filled in, work reviews written together with the employers, changed after feedback from partner and re-checked with employer, checked and changed again, signed and sent off, language course certificate written, signed and sent off - we are off into the X-mas holiday!!

Coordi-Nation participates in BMAS (BundesMinisterium für Arbeit und Soziales) workshop in Berlin November 7-8th 2016. Nice to see all the partners again and to exchange experiences and discuss changes in the new program period. The cooperative working together has been especially good between the cooperation partners in Germany and us as international partner - Thanks to all involved for your great cooperation skills! Working together, solving problems together, finding good solutions together, discussing problems together - like being brothers and sisters (-: no wonder this way of working is so successful and the majority of the participants manage to get back into the job market!

In 2016 we have received groups with young people from Cologne, Munic and Lünen, young people, who all need a chance to get back onto the first job market. As always, we offer high quality real jobs in the first job market. The participants are fully integrated in the team and executing the same job as regular workers. The intern experience trust and confidence, as well as flat hierarchies - an environment where our young people bloom ! Sometimes all you need in life is a chance....

Busy times in Småland arranging internships for yet another group of young long term unemployed persons. This time the focus is more in the social area. We are happy to have managed to find really good placements for the participants arriving early April!

The stay in Småland is now slowly coming to an end, the participants have been very hard working, learned a lot and had fun! We are now preparing last events, travel arrangements for a smooth ending of the project. Just before Christmas the group returns back to Germany with a lot of new experience and memories in their bags. We wish them best of luck in their next step in life!

First week on the job! Everyone started off really well, well done!!

The group with young aspiring participants and two leaders arrived in a dark and drizzling Oskarshamn - the mood was great, even though the trip had been long and they were all tired. They made themselves comfortable in their new home, got a welcome evening "fika" and then most of the participants were off to bed.

Already in June we are starting to prepare the new program period, in october we have to be up and running to receive 12 eager IdA-participants again!

2015 will be another exciting year! We are preparing for new projects and are applying for an ESF project together with partners in Sweden.

In July, Coordination Europe is focusing on ending the ESF prestudy and evaluation of labour market projects in Germany and Sweden.

After a lovely goodbye party in Mejeriet, and Germany won the fotball game, our group of participants has left Småland. We wish them a good trip back to Germany and look forward to welcoming some of them back to us again!

 

Swimming in one of 40 lakes and rivers in the area, bbq by the water in the evenings, camping in the national park, blues festival by the ocean in Mönsterås, visits to the historic city of Kalmar, Astrid Lindgrens World, Moose park, celebrating Midsummer in traditional swedish setting - and the sun is still shining - can it get any better?! Besides pleasure and a lovely leisure time in Sweden, our IdA- and Leonardo-participants have been working hard on their future. From the shipyard, mechanical workshop, schools, day care, restaurants, hotels, political party activities, shops to carpentry - the participants are improving their personal and professional skills, and learning Swedish, English and swedish culture. Yet again, the participants like Sweden so much, that many of them want to stay here!

We are in the midst of preparations for another IdA and Leonardo group to come to Småland in May. We hope the spring/summer is here to stay!

Friday the 31st of March, Coordi-Nation is participating in Coordination Europes Network meeting in Högsby (www.coordinationeurope.se). Coordi-Nation will present IdA-results, experinces gained and best practices as well as excerpts from Dr. Sören Kristensen "Experinces with Mobility" and the swedish pilot-project KRUT from Borås.

2014 is starting with two IdA-participants staying in Sweden - one of them already has a job, the second person is due for a job interview!

 

Furthermore, Coordi-Nation is participating in an ESF (European Social Fond) study from February on.

December 2013 - after a lovely goodbye evening in Staby Gårdshotell having the traditional swedish "Julbord" we wave farewell to our IdA-group for this time and wish them a safe trip back home, through the storm!

 

From September till December, the IdA-participants in Småland have been busy working in their internships and working on their way back to the job market. We have again managed to match intern and internship well - so well, that yet another IdA-participant wants to stay in Sweden! 

 

October 2013 is our big WorkShop-month where Coordi-Nation attends several Knowledge Exchange WorkShops in Germany.

 

In September 2013 we again look forward to greet IdA-participants from Germany!

 

The group from Cologne had a lovely summer in Småland and not only vocational skills, job experience, language- and personal developments occured - even love over the swedish-german borders developed during the white nights in Småland!

 

In July IdA Cologne will be visiting us, the preparations are up and running and we very much look forward to welcome our guests during the lovely swedish summer!

 

For the swedish Midsummer we had a conference with participants from Spain, Wales, Poland and Germany in Småland. Our guests all enjoyed this swedish cultural Midsummer event next to their ordinary agenda!

 

This spring 2013 we have had two IdA-Projects in Småland. These projects have been very successful! Again, a participant will stay in Sweden for work! Further participants are interested to stay as well, but there is not always a matching job possibility, unfortunately. 

 

In March we are meeting international partners from Spain, Germany, England/Wales and Poland - this time on location in Poland.

 

February: we welcome our french Leonardo-partner to Småland! The first

matching between internship and learner have been arranged! 

 

Now in February we are busy with the preparations for the coming spring

projects. Already now the participants for Småland are working on their

swedish skills and want to learn all about Sweden.

COORDI-NATION WISHES MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Winter wonderland! Småland is all white, the sleds and skis are in front of the houses, snowmen are watching over the gardens, wonderful! Our HöSchBo participants are busy working and they are  v e r y  happy in their jobs. For the end of the stay, we are planning a sparkling good bye party. One participant would like to stay here in Småland, lets see if we can find a way... For now, hejdå!

November 2012 is a busy month where we are preparing for the next Group of participants to come to Småland. We have a good matching with the Internships and are busy composing a cultural program. November and December is a dark but wonderful pre-christmas time, full of candle lights, singing, glögg & pepparkakor!

This time our german participants will be able to see Lucia, queen of lights - die Lichtkönigin - who arrives in Sweden in December!

In October 2012 Coordi-Nation again attended the IdA Vernetzungstreffen in Berlin, organised by the Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales. This time Coordi-Nation, invited a couple of its swedish partners to Berlin in order to attend the meetings. IdA Organisations in Germany have a great interest in working with Sweden!

 

We are also in the midst of preparing for the next group of german participants who will come to Sweden this autumn, as always very exciting - we can't wait to welcome our new guests!

 

We are happy to welcome yet another partner into our Network; Solaris Förderzentrum für Jugend und Umwelt gGmbH, we very much look forward to our cooperation!

 

Another positive report out of southern Sweden; one of the HöSchBo participants who became employed during his internship last autumn 2011, now after one year of working in Sweden, bought his own house! CONGRATULATIONS! There will be an official report about this shortly.

During the summer, Coordi-Nation will focus on extending the choice of internships in the region, in order to be prepared for all walks of life - especially for disabled participants.

After 7 weeks in Sweden, the AliSchwa participants left Småland end of April 2012. The internships were within the regional industry, organisations and local government areas, each internship catering to the experience of our participants - or, we enabled the participants to try out a new career choice.

 

Again, one of the participants is staying in Sweden - this time to go after university studies in southern Sweden.

 

All of the participants learned some basic swedish, some could even have a small dialogue while grocery shopping or at work!

 

The lovely Staby Gårdshotell hosted us again, the participants enjoyed their stay there very much, many thanks to Stihna. 

 

Coordi-Nation wishes all the participants much success in their future job search or education!

Furthermore, Coordination has been selected by the International Program Office to become part of a Gruntvig exchange program. This means, we will be able to attend and invite guests to transnational meetings in Europe until 2013!
